Carsmetix has joined the Fix Auto network and will now be operating as Fix Auto Pershore.

Carsmetix is owned by Robert Stern, the businessman behind Robert Stern BMW dealerships.

The bodyshop is managed by Ray Bower, and was formed nearly five years ago as a single 4,000 sq ft bodyshop.

Following a £600,000 investment, the repair centre now spans 10,750 sq ft using three adjoining units.

The bodyshop currently repairs up to 55 vehicles a month, a figure that is expected to increase to more than 70 when a final investment programme is completed by the end of the autumn.

Bower said: “We have successfully and rapidly managed to build the business up from scratch to the position where we are today.

“We believe that joining Fix Auto UK and being part of the network is that next step in our continual development and we are extremely excited about it.

“Our business has always been focused on customer service and fast turnaround times, so developing a dedicated Fix & Go express facility is certainly on our agenda.”
