Trakm8 launches fully-online vehicle tracking solution

Trakm8 Prime

Trakm8 claims to have launched a UK first with its fully-online vehicle tracking solution which can be bought and installed without a salesperson.

The customer can browse and buy Trakm8 Prime online without the need to go in-store, and can install the unit themselves – to reduce downtime and installation fees, it says.

It combines GPS tracking with features such as a driver coaching system to help cut fuel consumption and vehicle health alerts, acting as an early warning system to prevent breakdowns and non-starts.

It also enables separation of business and private mileage, while helping both sole traders and smaller companies to remain HMRC-compliant.

Trakm8’s managing director of fleet and optimisation, Colin Ferguson, said: “A lot of small business owners and sole traders could benefit from vehicle tracking, but don’t want to be tied up on sales calls or lose half a day while they wait for an installer to fit the unit.

“Trakm8 Prime gives them all the time and money-saving benefits of vehicle tracking, without any of the hassle.”
