Autorola UK is offering a white label version of its online wholesale used car sales portal to support the disposal of used vehicles.

The portal promotes customers’ used cars to other wholesale buyers digitally without any of the transport costs associated with selling the car physically, something which Autorola.

Peugeot, Citroen, Skoda, Seat, VW Commercials, Audi, Nissan, Renault, Kia, Hyundai, and Volvo are some of the vendors already using the portal.

“During 2020 we saw a large percentage of used cars sold online and our portal enables fleets to sell used cars to the trade without them having to invest in their own digital platform,” explained Jon Mitchell (pictured), Autorola UK’s group sales director.

“Many leasing, rental and funders have a strong brand which we can use to their advantage when selling used cars into the trade.”

A data feed is taken from the fleet operator’s internal asset management system accompanied by a reserve price and the stock is then offered for sale to Autorola’s online national network of 2,000 live trade buyers.

The Autorola sales team proactively highlights used cars to buyers of similar stock to increase the speed of sale, thus reinforcing the power of combining a digital sales platform with human interaction.

Autorola provides a fully managed end-to-end process which includes transport. Each vehicle is inspected and collected and then delivered to the buyer.

On delivery the vehicle is inspected again, and a 24-hour grievance period enables the new owner to report any problems which are then resolved by the Autorola customer service team.
