DS Automobiles will streamline its model line-up this summer with two new trim grades.

Vehicles will be offered in either Pallas or Étoile. The DS 4 will be the first model to adopt the new structure.

The aim is to provide greater clarity to customers, according to DS Automobiles, highlighting the key features of these models "rooted in a legacy that’s consistent with the brand".

A historic name from the heritage of DS, Pallas was introduced in 1964 to "satisfy the aspirations of the most demanding customers". It will be the core trim grade.

At the top of the range, Étoile will offer high-quality Alcantara or Nappa leather interiors.

Each variant will have its own special badge, with designs inspired by the decorative arts.
