Refurbishment, transport, storage and inspection options have been added to the 1link system thanks to a new deal with Bruntingthorpe.

David Goodyear, head of business development at epyx, said: “In a disposal market where increasing volumes of quality stock mean that it is getting harder to differentiate your vehicles, we can provide the means to offer ready-to-retail cars and vans to dealers.

“Through our new arrangement with Bruntingthorpe, we are able to offer to fleets online through 1link Disposal Network all the tools they need to ensure that their vehicles are in showroom condition.

“This means that dealers can buy online quality ex-fleet stock that arrives in showroom condition. It is very strong sales proposition.”

He added that a key part of the structure of the new services was that high quality pictures of the vehicle could be offered to dealers several days in advance of it arriving with the dealership.

“This means that the car or van can be up for sale on the dealer’s web site before it even arrives and, thanks to the refurbishment and inspection services that we offer, you know that it will arrive in customer-ready condition. It saves days or weeks in turnaround.”

Goodyear said: “More and more fleets and dealers are recognising the way in which we have developed the platform into a highly sophisticated tool that can meet all their disposal needs.”
