Auto Styling Truckman managing director Mike Wheeler was one of more than than 100 business leaders who wrote a letter to the Daily Telegraph this week voicing their concerns over Labour’s ability to continue Britain’s economic recovery.

Over the past five years, Auto Styling Truckman has seen its workforce grow from 25 to 65, with turnover growing from £5.1 million in 2010-11 to £12.5m in 2014-15.

Wheeler said: “I was happy to sign this letter because the success of Auto Styling Truckman has been in no small part down to the recovery of the economy.

"It has enabled small and medium businesses throughout the country to regain confidence and begin investing, safe in the knowledge that the Government will continue to support their development.

“Our own success has resulted in the creation of jobs and the simulation of the local economy and with the latest GDP figures showing the fastest growth rate for nine years the future looks great.”
