BFT Mastclimbing has partnered with Teletrac Navman. The deal will see the latter provide its telematics software and hardware to the former, increasing the visibility of its country-wide fleets.

The company is a UK specialist for Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs), and manages the creation, delivery and installation of more than 600 MCWPs to some of the UK’s largest and most demanding building and engineering contractors.

The business will now have access to Teletrac Navman’s DIRECTOR platform, which is an advanced fleet tracking system that enables BFT Mastclimbing’s fleet managers to have access to real time data in one easy-to-use interface.

It provides the business with a wide range of data, from the location of individual vehicles (tracked in real time) to monitoring fuel usage and driver performance and safety.

The company will follow Axtell in working with Teletrac Navman.

Kevin Inkley, transport manager at BFT Mastclimbing, said: “Our business has grown exponentially over the past ten years, but that has left us a little in the dark with the movements of our fleet and assets across the country, which of course are a big expense.

“With Teletrac Navman, we now have the perfect partner in place to help us improve our fleet and asset management, making us a stronger business as we move towards further growth.”

“The support of Professional Services has been invaluable in ensuring we see a positive ROI from this investment, and leave our fleet managers feeling empowered to do their jobs effectively and efficiently.”

Use of DIRECTOR will be combined with Teletrac Navman’s Smart Telematics performance reporting, which will help BFT Mastclimbing Ltd to significantly reduce wage, fuel, and other business costs.

Teletrac Navman will also provide its Professional Services team, to guide BFT Mastclimbing’s solution planning and training that will help the contractor’s fleet managers gather as much value from the data as possible.
