Hyundai’s i30 Fastback N Line went on sale today, with P11D prices starting from £20,270.

Powered by either 1.0 T-GDi 120PS or 1.4 T-GDi 140PS petrol engines, the range offers CO2 emissions of between 126g/km and 132g/km, meaning the modes sit in either the 29% or 30% benefit-in-kind tax bands.

The Fastback N Line trim features exterior and interior design elements carried over from the Fastback N, with chassis refinements and suspension setting changes to achieve a more dynamic drive for the 1.4-litre T-GDi engine.

Ashley Andrew, managing director of Hyundai Motor UK, said: “The i30 N range has been extremely well received by customers so far, with N and N Line models quickly accounting for 50% of all i30 sales.

“The introduction of the i30 Fastback N Line and the new Tucson N Line will deliver more of the N magic across our range.”

Its exterior features a front bumper accented with a silver character line and Hyundai’s cascading grille with mesh pattern, as well as black bezel surrounds on the headlamps.

Also carried over from the i30 Fastback N, the rear bumper features a red reflector line, the N signature triangular fog lamp and aerodynamic diffuser.

The interior features N-branded sport seats, a leather sports steering wheel and an N gear shift knob.

Standard safety equipment includes lane departure warning, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking and hill start assist.

Standard technology and connectivity equipment includes centre console display, eight-inch touchscreen display audio which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

i30 Fastback N Line 1.0 T-GDi 120PS six-speed manual offers cloth sports seats with height adjustability, air conditioning, an automatic dimming rear view mirror and black headlining as standard. This model is also available with a 1.4 T-GDi 140PS engine, with both 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT drivetrains.

From a P11D price of £23,495, the i30 Fastback N Line + 1.4 T-GDi 140PS 6 speed manual builds on the N Line trim level by offering heated faux leather and suede sports seats with electrically adjustable lumbar support for both driver and passenger, manual height adjustment and drivers side memory function.

N Line + trim also includes dual zone climate control, heated steering wheel, LED headlamps and automatic rain sensing windscreen wipers.

An eight-inch touchscreen satellite navigation with Traffic Messaging Channel, Mapcare and Live Services is a customer option.

The N Line + is also available with a seven-speed DCT transmission.
