Hyundai has unveiled its updated Kona Electric SUV, which features revised styling and new technologies.
It will continue to be available with two battery options: the long-range version with a 64kWh battery offers a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, while the 39.2kWh model offers up to 189 miles.
Exterior styling changes includes new lights and bumpers front and rear, while inside it now features a 10.25-inch digital cluster, while an optional 10.25-inch AVN screen is carried over from the last update.
The AVN unit incorporates multimedia and convenience features including Bluelink, Hyundai Live Services and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The new Kona Electric also has Hyundai’s SmartSense safety package, with upgraded features including rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.
Another feature new to this model is the leading vehicle departure alert which alerts the driver if they do not react fast enough when the vehicle ahead of them starts moving.
In March, Hyundai started production of the Kona Electric at its Czech production plant, which has enabled the company to reduce lead times for new cars.
