MG has updated the ZS EV with refreshed styling, a new infotainment system and a long-range battery option.

The facelifted Long Range model is on sale now, priced from £30,940 (P11d).

A new front bumper separates the electric ZS from its petrol-powered counterpart by removing the conventional grille and making the charge port more visible.

Long Range versions make use of a new 72kWh battery pack, which can deliver a 273-mile range.

Standard range ZS EVs are equipped with a 51kWh battery (up from 41.5kWh), giving a range of 198 miles.

The combination Type 2 and CCS charger provides up to 7kW fast charging using the on-board AC charger, or up to 76kW DC rapid charging. This means the Long Range battery can be charged from 0-100% in as little as 42 minutes.

The entry level ZS EV SE, priced at £28,495 (after PiCG) on-the-road, comes with automatic air conditioning, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, vehicle-to-load charging, 360-degree parking camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with sat nav, and multiple USB charging points.
