Vodafone Automotive new name for Cobra Automotive Technology

Cobra Automotive Technology has been renamed Vodafone Automotive.

The Italian company was acquired by Vodafone in June 2014, and a spokesman at the time said the company’s telematics products and expertise would enable it to provide a more comprehensive range of end-to-end services to automotive customers.

At the time, Erik Brenneis, director of machine-to-machine at Vodafone said: “The combination of Vodafone and Cobra will create a new global provider of connected car services.

“We plan to invest in the business to offer our automotive and insurance customers a full range of telematics services.”

The company said core services, contact details terms and conditions as well as customer account managers will remain unchanged.

They are an absolute disaster. Cobra Tracking was great but since they have been taken over the customer service is APPALLING - calls not taken, messages not responded to and e-mails not answered - WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO RE-NEW A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE - AVOID!!!
