VWFS to pay early termination fees for fleets that switch to ID3

Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet has launched a new offer for fleet and business customers that want to switch to a new VW ID3 electric car.

The leasing provider is offering to pay early termination fees for existing lease contracts, even if they are with another provider.

This enables both business and driver to take advantage of the lower running costs and environmental benefits of an EV earlier than they might have previously expected.

Proof of early termination fees will be required, if the existing vehicle is not already leased with VWFS. It will discount the amount from future monthly rentals cost, up to £1,000 per vehicle.

VWFS Fleet will also include a free pod-point home charger with every eligible ID3 lease.

The ID3 is available on business contract hire from £214 per month. As a fully electric vehicle, drivers will pay just 1% benefit-in-kind tax on the P11d value in the 2021/22 tax year.
