Seat announces partnership with Saba to develop connected car parking solutions

Seat partnership with Saba

Seat has teamed up with Saba to develop connected vehicle services associated with parking, such as booking and advance payment of parking spaces.

Saba is leading operator in the development of urban mobility solutions and specialises in parking management.

The partners are studying how to offer a mobile reservation and payment system for parking spaces, which will integrate with the digital solutions that Seat is currently working on.

In addition, the collaboration lays the foundation for projects like Parkfinder 2.0, which will enable both companies to offer drivers real-time information on which parking spaces are available and recommend a car park according the needs of the client.

They will also explore other services associated with the time vehicles spend stationary, such as shopping delivery or refuelling.

Seat also announced the signing of another agreement, this time with Waze, Google’s GPS navigation app. The new Waze app for Android Auto will feature in the brands entire range equipped with a Full Link infotainment system.
