A thank you from Barnoess Vere to the fleet industry at Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live 2020

Baroness Vere of Norbiton was appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport on 23 April 2019. She was previously a Government Whip (Baroness in Waiting) from 21 December 2016 to 26 July 2019.

More than 900 unique attendees visited Fleet News’s flagship show over the three days, making the most of the interactive exhibitions, best practice workshops, daily debates and networking opportunities.

Top sessions during the event were the electric-themed presentations, with fleet decision-makers keen to find out how best to integrate electric vehicles into their operations and get advice on setting up a workplace charging infrastructure.

Further guidance was provided by BMW, FCA, MG, Renault, Toyota Lexus and Volvo in the EV ad Hybrid showroom, and during interviews with Fleet News editor-in-chief Stephen Briers.

Chris Connors, head of facilities and fleet at Countryside Properties, said: “The interaction with the suppliers in chat was very good and it enabled me to catch with a few people that I hadn't spoken to in a while.

“One of the big benefits to me is the ability to still be able to watch the content that I missed. There were a couple of key seminars that unfortunately my diary meant I was unavailable to make; however, I am now looking forward to catching up at a suitable time.”
