Volkswagen Group UK has confirmed its attendance at Company Car in Action (CCIA) 2023 for the first time as a combined group of brands.

The group will be bringing models from Audi, Cupra, Škoda, Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles for fleet decision-makers to put through their paces at the fleet test driving event, which takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground on June 14-15.

It will be the first time Volkswagen Group has been at CCIA as a collective, presenting the exclusive opportunity for fleets to test-drive the latest models from the brands en masse.

Key models available to test drive across the two days include the Volkswagen ID.4, Škoda Enyaq SUV and Coupe, Audi Q4 e-tronCupra Born and the ID. Buzz.

Matthew Hattersley, national fleet sales manager at Volkswagen Passenger Cars said: “Volkswagen is delighted to be attending Company Car in Action, where our fleet experts will be accompanied by three of our award-winning models from the fully electric ID range.

“Members of the Volkswagen fleet team will be present throughout, ready to answer any questions you have about switching to electric. The team will also be on hand to show you how the net-carbon neutral ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 are helping businesses electrify.

Volkswagen said its urban SUV, the ID4, is capable of up to 328 miles (WLTP) from a single charge, the ID5 can be charged from 0 to 100km in just seven minutes, delivering a range of up to 327 miles and the ID3, Volkwagen’s zero emission hatchback can achieve a range of up to 347 miles.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will also be showcasing the ID. Buzz, the ID. Buzz Cargo and the new seven-seat Multivan, at the event.

The ID. Buzz features a 77kWh lithium-ion battery (net capacity), which with a rear-mounted motor can produce 150kW (204 PS) and 310Nm of torque and is capable of an all-electric driving range of up to 258 miles, said Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

The ID. Buzz Cargo offers two trim levels (Commerce and Commerce Plus) and both are fitted with a 77kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor producing a power output of 204PS and delivering an all-electric range of up to 256 miles.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles said the Multivan “marks a new era” for the brand, and for the first time, features a plug-in hybrid option.

The vehicle has two trim levels – Life and Style - two vehicle lengths and four powertrains – 2.0 TDI 150PS, 1.5 TSI 136PS, 2.0 TSI 204PS and 1.4 TSI 218PS eHybrid.

A spokesperson at Audi said: "The transition to electrification is rapidly accelerating. To support fleets on this journey, Audi is pleased to attend Company Car in Action, where two of our award-winning vehicles will be available to test drive and our experts ready to offer their advice.

"Our fleet specialists will be accompanied by the fully-electric Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron, both of which are playing a key role in helping businesses electrify.

"The Q4 e-tron delivers the premium experience you expect from an Audi in addition to the benefits of being fully electric. Equipped with Audi’s most advanced technology as standard, this spacious vehicle has a range of up to 328 miles and can be charged from 5-80% in as little as 29 minutes.

"The Q8 e-tron, combines luxury and innovative technology with an impressive range, of up to 330 miles. This certified net-carbon-neutral vehicle can be charged from 10-80% in just 31 minutes."

The e-tron GT will also be on display, accelerating from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds and with up to 530 PS, the e-tron GT is capable of up to 303 miles from a single charge.

The spokesperson added: "These electrifying vehicles represent an important step towards helping businesses reduce their emissions."

As well as Cupra's first electric model, the Born, the manufacturer will also be bringing the Formentor e-Hybrid (PHEV).

A spokesperson at Cupra said: "The Cupra Born is the first 100% electric Cupra model, offering the perfect blend of sportiness and efficiency, whilst also providing drivers with a high level of engagement and extremely low running costs.

"With a range of up to 341* miles on a fully charged 77kWh battery, fast charging from 0% to 80% in just 36 minutes and significantly reduced benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax for drivers, the 100% electric Born offers sharp and sporty handling, without compromising on comfort.

“The Formentor e-Hybrid is a stand-out choice for those moving towards electrification, combining elegance and performance. With a combined range of up to 491 miles*, it's perfectly suited to business travel - whether long or short distance."

Škoda will be showcasing the Enyaq SUV and Coupe at the premier fleet test-driving event.

"The Enyaq SUV brings together leading technology, performance and environmental responsibility and is capable of achieving up to 339 miles on a single charge," said a spokesperson at Škoda.

"The Enyaq Coupe has a range of up to 345 miles and with rapid charging capability of up to 135kW, the battery can be charged to 80% in as little as 29 minutes.

"These zero-emission EVs embody Škoda’s commitment to supporting businesses as they make the switch to electric, combining comfort and performance with eco-conscious design.
