FMG has appointed Andrew Chandler to the role of sales director from his previous position as head of sales and marketing.

The appointment reflects the company’s move to strengthen its board to support ongoing growth, as well as recognising the significant contribution Chandler (pictured) has made to the business, said FMG.

In his new role, he will have full responsibility for the company’s sales offering, and will retain executive responsibility for the company’s new business, marketing and bid response activities.

He will also join the company’s operating board where he will add a wealth of industry knowledge, commercial expertise and look to influence the next business innovations.

Chanfdler joined FMG in 2015 bringing with him an in-depth knowledge of the fleet and incident management industry. During his four-year tenure with FMG, he has lead and redefined the new business and marketing strategy, playing a vital role in the controlled growth of the business and the development into new markets.

He said: "I’m delighted to be presented with this opportunity which comes at an exciting time for FMG. The role represents a challenge that I am greatly looking forward to; growing our business and continuing to deliver the best solutions across the markets within which we operate.”

FMG’s managing director, Harvey Stead, said: "Andrew’s appointment is well-deserved recognition of his significant contribution to the business within a relatively short amount of time.

“Andrew is the most accomplished new business executive I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. His expertise, integrity and tenacity have played a significant part in our growth story over the last three years, and I have every confidence that, in his new role, Andrew will continue to do a superb job of supporting our business and its continued ambitions.”
